The information that follows has the purpose of describing in general terms the manner in which the web site www.siblex.com (the “portal” in the following) is managed. This statement (“Statement” in the following) is drafted in accordance with the principle of transparency and of all elements required by the GDPR, and is divided into several sections so as to be read and understood easily and quickly.

The Portal offers content of an informative, and sometimes interactive, nature. During navigation on the Portal the Firm may acquire information about the user in the following ways:
Navigation data
IT and software procedures governing the Portal acquire during their normal routine certain personal data, the transmission of which is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. Such information is not collected in order to be associated to identities, but because of its very nature it might, if processed and associated with data held by third parties, lead to the identification of users. This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of computers employed by users connecting to the site, addresses in URL (Uniform Resource Identifier) format, the time of the request, the method used in submitting the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numeric code indicating the status of the server’s response (completed, error, etc.) and other parameters concerning the operative system and IT environment of the user.

Personal Data given to the Firm may be processed for receiving email at the addresses listed on the Firm’s site, which entails the acquisition of the sender’s address necessary to answer requests, as well as of other possible personal data included in the message.
Giving personal data is necessary to pursue the above objectives. Failure to give the data in whole or in part or incorrectly will make it impossible for the Firm to supply the requested services.
The Portal includes several links allowing users to connect from the Portal to other web sites, and it is possible to connect to the Portal from third party web sites. The Controller declines all liability concerning any request for, and/or release of, personal data from/to third party web sites and concerning the management of authentication credentials supplied by third parties.
The Personal Data of minors with less than 14 years of age will not be processed by the Controller unless specifically authorised by the holder of parental responsibility.
Your Personal Data will be processed by the Firm within the territory of the European Union.
If for technical and/or operational reasons, or for the execution of the contract, the need should arise to make use of subjects outside the European Union, we pre-emptively advise you that such subjects will be appointed Controllers and the transfer of your Personal Data to such subjects, exclusively for performing specific processing activities, will be regulated by Chapter 5 of the GDPR.
In such an event, the Firm will ensure the adoption of adequate safeguards (such as subscribing standard contractual clauses approved by the EU Commission) with the foreign entity receiving the data; such clauses guarantee a level of protection for data equalling the one established by EU provisions.
Please be aware that you may exercise all your rights under the GDPR, and in particular you may obtain:
- confirmation as to whether or not Personal Data concerning you are being processed and, where that is the case, access to the Personal Data and to the following information: purposes of processing, categories of Personal Data, recipients and/or categories of recipients to which data have been and/or will be disclosed, period for which the data will be stored;
- rectification of inaccurate Personal Data concerning you and/or completion of incomplete Personal Data, including by means of providing a supplementary statement;
- erasure of Personal data, in the cases provided for by the GDPR;
- restriction of processing in the cases provided for under privacy laws in force;
- the portability of data concerning you, and in particular request the Personal Data concerning you which you have provided to the Firm and /or request the direct transfer of those data to another Controller.
- the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing of Personal Data concerning you in full compliance with privacy laws in force.

Interested parties believing that processing of data concerning them is taking place against Regulation provisions hold the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (Autorità Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali) under Article 77 of the Regulation, or to bring actions before the competent judicial authorities (Article 79 of the Regulation).
This declaration may change in the course of time – also due to the possible entry into force of new relevant legislation, to the updating and/or provision of new services and/or to any occurring technological innovation – so please consult this page periodically.
Your Personal Data will be stored for the time necessary to achieve the purposes under point 1). In particular, your Personal Data will be processed for the minimum necessary period, meaning until the contractual relationship with the Controller is ended, save for a further storage period that may be imposed by provisions of law.
Moreover, should you decide to grant optional consent for the marketing purposes described above, your data will be stored, unless consent is revoked, for a period of time no longer than the one necessary for achieving the purposes.
Data will be stored longer should the need arise to manage complaints or disputes.
You have the right to revoke the consent you have given at any time, in whole or in part. This will have no effect on the lawfulness of the processing based on consent given before revocation. To revoke consent it is sufficient to contact the Controller at the addresses shown in this statement.
